How Is AI Reshaping Law and Governance?
NobleCamps’ Coffee Chats Series brings together professionals, experts and industry leaders for thoughtful conversations on timely topics shaping the future of business, technology and society.
This fifth session explores how AI is affecting existing legal frameworks, how those frameworks can safeguard users as AI rapidly expands, and what forms of governance may be necessary as the technology continues to develop.
The session will be conducted in English and will feature Kyoko Yoshinaga, Project Associate Professor at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media and Governance and Affiliate Scholar at the Georgetown Law Institute for Technology & Policy, followed by open conversation and light refreshments.

The Speaker
Kyoko Yoshinaga
PROJECT ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, KEIO UNIVERSITY | AFFILIATE SCHOLAR, GEORGETOWN LAW
Kyoko Yoshinaga is a Project Associate Professor at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media and Governance and an Affiliate Scholar at Georgetown Law’s Institute for Technology Law & Policy. Her work focuses on the governance, policy, law and ethics of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Before joining academia, she spent nearly two decades at the Mitsubishi Research Institute, where she advised Japanese government ministries on ICT, media and cybersecurity policy and regulation, and later worked on compliance and risk management within the institute’s AI development division.
Her work spans both Japan and the international AI governance community. She contributes to government advisory initiatives and AI ethics discussions and serves as an expert with the Global Partnership on AI, bringing together perspectives from policy, industry and academia on the responsible governance of emerging technologies.
